Can PLR Be Like An ATM Machine On Your Blog?
You are able to use PLR in so many different ways. Today, I’d like to share with you six specific ways PLR can be an ATM machine on your blog.
Before we begin, there is one caveat about buying PLR. I wrote another post on where to go for good quality PLR.
You might want to read that first, instead of, wasting your hard earned money on junk. There is a lot of bad PLR out there, trust me, I know, because I bought some of it.
Here Are The 6 Specific Ways To Use PLR
- - As A Vlog (video blog or podcast)
With good PLR you will have no problem doing a Vlog or Podcast. How you accomplish this is by reading the PLR articles (in a natural way of speaking, of course.) You don’t want to sound like you are reading it.
You’ll need a little practice, but once you get it down, it can help you to rank well online. You can provide a transcript of the video or podcast on your blog as part of the post, and that’s where you’ll strategically place your money hyperlinks.
- - As A Free Viral Download
With a viral download, you’re encouraging people to spread this along to as many people as possible and what’s really great is the fact that no one is required to opt into your list. This is a real incentive for others to pass along the content.
This is a little different way of doing things instead of using the opt in freebies. This works really well if you use your hyperlinks sparingly, leading to products that you are selling.
- - As An Incentive For Opt Ins
It’s a fact, that if you can’t build a list, you’re not going to make much money. One way to use PLR for list building is to get them to sign up for your newsletter by offering the PLR as an incentive.
Another way to use PLR is to make a 7 day or 10 day course out of it and give your subscribers one course a day. You gather several pieces of PLR that are related and teach something.
You can compile a report from snippets of PLR articles and use it as an incentive to opt in. The benefits of having a list are many because you are able to market products to them over and over again – not just once.
Of course, you want to make sure that you have hyperlinks in your report or course for the products that you want to offer your subscribers. Don’t forget your opt in form. It should be on the main page and every blog post.
- - As Curated Content That You Add Comments To
Just because you buy PLR it doesn’t mean you have to claim it as your own. PLR can be used any way you see fit, which allows you to use it as curated content. Let’s discuss what curated means. Museums have curators that gather museum pieces for a certain theme or show.
In this case we’ll use Egyptian Artifacts to explain curate. He or she would search for and gather anything Egyptian that is either valuable or old for the show. The curator will then write an article about the show to peak interest in potential paying visitors. For a simple example of how this works we’ll use weight loss as our topic.
You buy some PLR articles on weight loss and in one of the articles there is a paragraph about what kind of exercise equipment you should use to burn fat.
The paragraph goes something like this: “In order to burn fat, you will need to do weight training and cardio exercise. Weight loss is one of the benefits of CrossFit training. You won’t get bored with the same old routine because there are many exercises you will be doing. These exercises will involve burpee, ball shots, back extension, push press, lifts, lungesteps, kettleball swings, pull-ups and box jumps. There will also, be minimal treadmill work and minimal cycling”.
You can post that paragraph as a quote, which then becomes curated content. Then, you can add your own comment, you might say something like: “This author knows what he is talking about because it’s a proven fact that weight training and cardio exercise help you burn fat and lose weight”.
You can hyperlink “weight training” and “cardio exercise” that will lead them to some products you sell that are related to this subject.
You can tell them why you believe in these products and what it can do for them. This is so terrific because you are just taking what an expert says and adding your own recommendation.
- As Reviews Or Fillers
Reviewing a product can be difficult but, not if you are using PLR because you can use the examples in the PLR to help you with the review.
I’ll show you what I mean. We’ll use the weight loss paragraph as our example. Say you wanted to review a $500.00 CrossFit course.
You can use that same paragraph of PLR to promote this course by telling your reader that this set of exercises can be done anywhere, including work or home.
Talk about the benefits of being able to perform these exercises anywhere and their reward is loss of weight and fat. Use the PLR to give your review some meat and substance.
- As Ideas For Other Content
The great thing about PLR is that the research is already done for you. You don’t have to spend a lot of time on writing and organizing your thoughts and it’s really meant to give you a head start on the subject.
With this in mind, all you have to do is re write as much or as little of it as you like. Interjecting your own experiences and thoughts just makes it more personal. For an example we are going to re write the same weight loss paragraph above, which is:
“In order to burn fat, you will need to do weight training and cardio exercise. Weight loss is one of the benefits of CrossFit training. You won’t get bored with the same old routine because there are many exercises you will be doing. These exercises will involve burpee, ball shots, back extension, push press, lifts, lunge steps, kettle ball swings, pull-ups and box jumps. There will also, be minimal treadmill work and minimal cycling”.
Re writing this, you could say: “Losing weight and burning fat have many health benefits that you are probably looking for. Because the CrossFit training is so versatile, you can do the exercises at work or home which makes it easier to stick with the program.
You will be using free weights, a treadmill and various other equipment. Some of the exercises like lunge steps, back extensions, burpees and push press will make you use your own body weight so, no other equipment is involved.”
The benefit of re writing PLR is that it’s in your own voice and the words sound like you. It’s almost as if you wrote it yourself. The way you profit from this is by hyperlinking “treadmill” or “free weights” to a treadmill or set of free weights you are selling.
There are other ways to earn cash with PLR that I will be covering in another post in the future so, stay tuned. Give this a tweet, if you like it.
Have a great day!
